Well folks, I guess you are all waiting for my update. Let me just tell you I got nothing BUT good news today.
We were on the road at 4 pm yesterday headed to Manassas VA. We hit NO traffic which was miracle number one. At that time, headed towards D.C. with NO traffic is amazing. On the way there I just happened to look at the car coming along side us in the left lane. A white pickup truck. Dont know what triggered me to look at the license plate. M487. Now, you ask why this is of signifigance? Our donor number is M847. Yes, 2 numbers were backwards but what the heck are the chances of seeing the letter M, grouped with the 3 numbers of our new donor on THIS day? Very very slim. Slim to NONE I'd day. It made me happy. From that moment on, I knew this IVF was going to work. I know it will. That was miracle number 2 and we were only half way there. The doctor then gives us our calendar of dates. (I will post it soon)
We get to the hospital the next morning (this morning) for our baseline appointment, as nervous and excited as can be. I get the wonderful dildo cam (vaginal ultrasound) while on AF's visit. Not pretty. We look at the ultrasound monitor and see a lovely empty uterus! No cysts, fibroids or what not! YEAH! Then she looks at my left ovary. 8 lovely small follicles! Yes folks, EIGHT! Then we look at my right ovary and find 6 follies. SIX more! That is a total of 13 potenial eggies that will become our twins! And this total of 13 follies is BEFORE I've even started my stimmulating injections! So, maybe we can build up even more. Wow. I am thrilled. Miracle number 4.
After this we take our 2 vials to have them stored and we get breakfast while waiting for the pharmacy to open. I get my meds and holy bejesus! Talk about meds...wow. You will see in the pictures I post soon.
Then we have our injection class which felt a tad bit overwhelming at first but I think we can manage it well.
Geez, now I all of a sudden dont know what to type...my brain went to 'pause' mode. Sorry. I will upload the pictures then post my calendar for you all to see.
By the way...THANK YOU everyone for your well wishes. Thanks Tammy for sending me card. It made me smile. I only got 2 cards this year, one from you and one from sister who I havent seen in 2 years. Thank you.

So, I woke up randomly this morning..which I have been doing for the past week since I've been sick...and the time...3:23 a.m. Our donor number this cycle, 323. A sign? I'd like to think so.
I hate being sick. I cant breathe yet the green stuff wont stop pouring outta me. My face hurts, head hurts, nose it sore from tissues being constantly rubbed on it, no energy, sleeping 10 hours a night, no appetite but Im so hungary, eating cough drops like candy. Need I go on? I dont think so.
Both Meg and Tracey have tagged me, I promise I will get to it soon! Just not now..
UPDATE
Im sitting here eating my soup on the couch and watching The Tyra Show and I look at the time, and again...its 3:23 p.m. Hmm..a sign? I'd like to think so.

Well, our favorite donor that gave us a baby for a short time, is not available until June or later. As you know, I cannot wait until June or later for my BFP. So we had to decide on a donor that was available. We decided to go back to the donor that we used previously for our 2nd home AI, and our 1st IUI. I was very disappointed at first, since our favorite donor was very much like Nick. Then I thought, which ever donor gives us a baby we will love just as much, it doesnt matter. And maybe our favorite donor didnt work out for a reason. I'm still kinda bummed about it, but I have to keep reminding myself, we will love the baby no matter what donor we use.
So I called this morning and ordered our vial of sperm fo rour next try! I really cannot wait. Im excited to try again and get a sticky BFP. I know it will happen.
These few days have been emotionally rough on me. Not just because of the miscarriage, but also becasue I miss Nick so much. I am so exhausted at night, all I want to do is sleep. But I get into bed and toss and turn so much that I get so frustrated and start to cry because I just want to sleep. I miss him so much it hurts. We only have 2 1/2 months left. You would think that by now I would be used to it. By now, I can sleep easily without him. But I cant. Everyday its harder and harder.
But, this too shall pass and soon enough I will be in the two week wait again, and Nick will be home.

Today it was 86 degrees out. I took Roo out front on the leash and tied him up to the tree. He was loving it! I hosed down our patio chairs, and put mulch out around the tree. Im going surround it with flowers on Wednesday. I cant wait to get started. I would have gotten started with it today, but my friend's daughter wants to help with it. Im going to take her for the day on Wed, and we are going to plant all sorts of flowers. I cant wait to see the finished product. I will take pictures and post them when its done.
