Giveaway!

I have a giveaway!
Totally random I know- but as I am cleaning, or de-junking my house for a yard sale next weekend I came across something that an old chat board friend sent to me when we were preparing to go into our IVF cycle.

It's a post ivf transfer meditation music cd. She mailed it to me no charge and I would love to pass it on to who ever would like it. It is 18 minutes of music to help you relax so your growing embryos can happily dance their way to your uterus and stay there for the long haul.

So if you are going through or about to go through IVF, please send me a comment and let me know so you can be entered into the drawing for this cd. If you know of someone going through or about to go through the IVF process, please tell them about my giveaway so they can drop me a comment and enter the contest.
In the comment, just introduce yourself and tell me a little about you. Thats all I ask. You have until July 21st to enter the drawing for the free giveaway.

Ok, its 4:11 AM and Kayla has been done crying for some time now, so I really should be in bed. This is a success though. She was only up once at 3 AM crying for about 20 minutes. We are getting there!!! Soon we will be back to normal.

And the winner is..................

KATE!!!!!

How did I come up with the winner? I went to RANDOM.ORG. I didn't realize I had to be registered with them to use the random winner picker. So what I did was I went to the list randomizer. I put everyone's name on the list as many times as entries they had. Then I had the list randomized, and the person in the number one slot was the winner!

CONGRATS KATE!! From http://stinkytinky.blogspot.com/ Expect your package soon! I will be mailing it first thing tomorrow morning!! I sure hope you enjoy it.

I had fun with this giveaway. I had a fun reading everyone's ideas and many of them Im going to work on doing. From ideas of things to do while Nick is gone and more ideas for my blogging. Thank you everyone for your entries.

I has so much fun that I may make this a bi-monthly event in the future.

Tomorrow will also resume my regularly scheduled blogging.

And you will get to see pictures from our photo session from the weekend very soon! The pictures turned out AMAZING! We have the 2nd half of our photo session on Tuesday so after then you will get to see them all! Im so excited to share them all!

*EDIT* Just wanted to add, it looks like not everyone's name is on this list but everyone's name is indeed on this list, as many times as you made an entry. I just couldnt fit the whole entire list in the picture. There were 38 names.

Another Blog CONTEST!

Ok, so this morning as I was going through my address book making sure I sent Christmas cards out to all family and friends that I send to every year, I realized I have extra Christmas cards. The Christmas cards this year are extra special. I ordered them from Snapf*sh with a family photo of us on them. Its our first major holiday as a family of THREE!

So, what do I do with the leftovers? Give them away!

Here's the deal...

Most of my blog readers already have this Christmas card.
If you dont its because I either dont have your address or you are a reader that I dont know about. So come out of hiding and introduce yourself. Leave me a comment and tell me who are you and how you found my blog. If I know you already and would like to be entered, just let me know.

If you post my giveaway on your blog or your Myspace as a bulletin (Im a big Myspacer) let me know- and add the link to your blog or your myspace page in your comment and I will add you a second time in the contest.

When Tuesday night of December 16 hits I will put everyone's name into Random.org and randomly choose a winner of said Christmas card.

Then Wednesday morning your Christmas card will be in the mail.

There will be not only 1 winner, but I will choose TWO winners!

GOOD LUCK!

Also, check out my good friend Tammy's blog. She is trying to raise money to bring her little peanut into this world. Her and her wonderful Mom are now making blankets to help with the fund raising. I have personally ordered 2 of these blankets!

Tsunami test/Contest winner/Kayla is 3 months old!

Ok, so the Tsunami watch was a test and no one knew about it. Turns out on the radio Nick heard that the Tsunami watch was REAL, but it was real because there was miscommunication coming out of Japan. Japan was running an emergency TEST of a 9.2 earthquake and the weather center didn't realize it was a test. So they sent out the Tsunami watch for Guam. Shheesh.

So, the winner for the caption contest....I couldn't pick one. I did have a few favorites but I couldn't bear that task of picking one. I didn't want to seem like I was playing favorites even though that is what I was supposed to do. Pick my favorite. So my bright idea...write everyone's name on a piece of paper and leave it up to my cat to choose. I threw each paper name at him and waited until he picked one by playing with it. Roo usually cant resist playing with a paper bally. But this time he did....he spotted a lizard out back right after I threw the balls at him. Figures. So while he was lizard hunting, I flung each paper ball at him until he went after one. He went after this one................(drum roll please)

EMILY's MOMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And now he continues to play with the rest of the paper balls.
Emily's Mommy's caption...:"Hey YOU in the WHITE...don't come any closer or I'll have to dirty my diaper!"

CONGRATS JODY!! Expect a picture of our little princess in the mail. Im still waiting on them to arrive to me from shutterfly.com. But I should be getting them any day now. And I will also be using this caption with her picture in her scrapbook. I will note on the page who the caption came from.

Here are the pictures from the paper ball drawing.
